Las Beatas ran a fine first race, as she was green as grass in theearly stages and appeared to be going nowhere when pushed along over three furlongs out. However, the penny started to drop and she finished strongly to make a race of it with the winner. She should have little trouble winning her maiden before making further progress.
Dallma led untilheaded by the winner and ran well enough without causing any great stirs, but she may do better over further once handicapped, while Cordelia showed a little ability and will do better in time. [TE]
