Tufty Hopper is one for the notebook. He moved into contention full of running off the home turn, but seemed to over-jump and stumble on landing at the third-last. A little bit raggedy thereafter, he stuck on well and looks a winner waiting to happen of something similar.
Rare Society was in the process of running a good race when he slipped on landing and came to grief two out when holding every chance; he is an unlucky horse, one way or another.
