Mooramana was too keen for his own good and not for the first time found one too good. If he settled a race like this is well within his capabilities.
Beat the Heat will have appreciated this ground. He never looked like getting in a serious blow, but he kept on and it was his first run since mid-December.
Green Finger, who was not that clever three out, came with a run under pressure on the rails only for it to peter out. He may appreciate the cheekpieces back on.
Eyze had failed to complete in five of his last six outings, but he got round here. He jumped well and this may have been the confidence booster he needed. He is on a handy mark considering his form of three years ago.
Posh Stick was outpaced at the top of the hill, then made ground to be close enough turning for home but then quickly flattened out. She could be interesting if she could find some heavy ground.
There was some money for Coy Lad but he never got into it.
