| A typically modest maiden hunter chase, with very few having shown solid form outside point-to-points. SOLWAY SUNSET was at least unexposed and she confirmed the impression of her Sedgefield second earlier in the year that she is improving, leading 4out until the last fence, going on again at the elbow and ultimately was fairly comfortably on top. If anything she was in front too soon, she has time on her side and could progress enough to win again in this grade. Sessay Miller is another who seems to be going the right way and this dual point-to-point winner made a fairly encouraging chasing debut, keeping on for second - though the proximity of Springwood White, who had shown just poor form to date this year, indicates this was not a strong contest.
