This track would not have played to his strengths as he looks a stayer and he looked less than the finished article too, racing keenly and appearing green. He has more improvement in him but is likely to have his attentions switched to chasing soon after he reappears next autumn - he could do well over fences.
The only other one seriously involved from two out was Nod Ya Head, who ran really well for a long way considering she has the BHB rating of a plater.
The first three came clear of Bella Liana, who ran just respectably, and hurdling debutant Reply To Moscow, who was unruly in the preliminaries but travelled well until weakening from two out - he does not look a stayer on this evidence and may be worth a try at a shorter trip.
