JIMMY THE GUESSER managed to win his first race on turf as his two previous successes had come on sand. On this evidence there is every chance he is going the right way as he was one of the least exposed in this line-up and can be placed to score again.
Willhewiz ran his race but his front-running style always leaves him vulnerable to something coming from off the pace.
Winthorpe came into the race on the back of a couple of all-weather wins this winter, so was fitter than most, and this is about as good as he is.
