ADVENTURESS confirmed the promise of her belated racecourse debut last month in a decent enough Newmarket maiden. Her sister Attune attained Listed status and it will be not surprise if she maintains family tradition. She was value for nearer double this clear margin, as she was just bumped along inside the final two furlongs to quickly take control and was just nudged out before easing in the last strides.
Salesin and Tennis Star took the eye as they were both a bit keen early and neither handled the turn out of the back straight well.
Both stayed on up the straight with Salesin coming home strongly, suggesting a win sooner rather than later.
Adage was another who took a strong hold early but Powerscourt's half-brother Electric Storm was disappointing, weakening after tracking the leader going well into the final three furlongs.
