Lankawi had a bold attempt at making all and made a good fist of it and in essence it was the penalty that did for him.
Rossin Gold, winner of a six-furlong seller on the Flat left the impression that he may be best suited by further than this minimum trip over hurdles. He kept on without being able to get in blow and there should be a race in him.
Clueless, a useful middle distance handicapper on the Flat came to have every chance but kept on at only one pace. His connections expected adeal better from the odds-on chance on his jumping debut and there did not appear to be any excuses, but he has to be given another chance.
Whistle Blowing was third into the straight and had every chance at the first hurdle into the straight but he blundered his chance away. There will be a race in him too.
